Sadiq picked up his enthusiasm and passion for technology circa 1998-1999 when Personal Computing started to become popular in his native country Bangladesh. His entry into the tech world happened through ICT Journalism. During his university days, Sadiq started to write in Tech Journals and Tech corners in national dailies. This soon became a full time side hussle apart form Engineering Study. At one point Sadiq started to write for all leading Tech Magazines in Bangladesh as well as number of leading national dailes.
He won the Best Contributor of the Year award in 2000 in Daily Ittefaq IT Page, one of the leading daily of Bangladesh. He held a number of post during his Tech Journalism career including, Technical Editor of Computer Tomorrow (a Monthly Magazine), Contribut of IT Page, Daily Ittefaq, Executive Editor of TechToday.
Sadiq graduated as an Engineer from his country's premier Engineering University, BUET and later completed his masters as Research Scholar from National University of Singapore (NUS). Later he was awarded a prestigious Fellowship for PhD program at University of California Los Angeles which he dropped out after two semesters to pursue a more independent path.
Sadiq is one of the early blogger since 2006 and his blog, Inspriations and Creative Thoughts (now known as Technology of the Heart) was nominated as Best Asia Blog Awar in 2006.
Since 2011 Sadiq has Founded and Co-Founded a number of IT Ventures globally including: Mystic Alchemy Design with Collette Gagnier (Berkley, CA), Sweet Information Architecture with Roya Jakoby (London), Codeboxr with Sabuj Kundu (Dhaka), Metamorphosis Ltd with M Rukunuzzaman (Dhaka) and CloudeNotes with Gavin Bernstein (Sydney)
At the moment Sadiq lives in Dhaka with his son Aymaan.
Sadiq's primary responsibilities at MetaKave includes Leadership, Operations, Project Management, Business Analysis and Client Communication.
Apart from Technology, Sadiq loves to study world religions, spiritual traditions particularly Sufi tradition and real politik. He loves Tagore, Sufi Qawwali and Baul songs. When free he loves to read on his Kindle and travel whenever time permits.
